 Woodlands Christmas Lights Competition switches on for 2009

Woodlands is set to be transformed into a magical wonderland as Woodlands Community Inc holds the annual Woodlands Christmas Lights Competition for 2009.
With little more than six weeks left until Christmas, it is a great opportunity to get into the spirit of Christmas and light up the streets of Woodlands.
Participation is easy, just add festive lights and decorations to your home, complete and lodge the entry form and be entered in the draw to win some great cash prizes. Displays will be judged based on;

To nominate your house simply download your nomination form and drop your completed entry form to the Delfin Sales and Information Centre, by Tuesday 8 December 2009.
Judging will take place on Wednesday 9 December between 7:00pm – 8:00pm, so ensure your lights are on for all to see. The winners will be announced at the Woodlands Community Christmas party on Sunday 13 December from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Annual Community Christmas Party!
Santa Claus is leaving the North Pole and making a special guest appearance for the fourth annual community Christmas party on Sunday 13 December 2009 at The Jarvis Crossing Park, at Woodlands.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the park, while the kids can enjoy free face painting, friendly cricket games, hopscotch and giant Snakes and Ladders. Plus, BBQ and drinks available for purchase.
Santa will present each child with a gift. Please purchase a gift for your child to the maximum of $10 and drop the gift displaying the child’s first and last name to the Delfin Sales and Information Centre (2 Woodlands Boulevard) before Friday 11 December 2009.
We encourage any singers or performers to register their interest to take centre stage and lead the community with some Christmas Carols that everyone can sing along to.
There will also be the long awaited announcement of the winners of the Woodlands Christmas Lights competition, so make sure you’re there!
